This site is a tribute to Bernie, who was born in Paddington on February 16, 1944. He is much loved and will always be fondly remembered. He was a loving husband, dad, step-dad and grandad (Doody), a sailor, a pirate, a boss, a friend and a legend.

Thoughts
I have good memories of Bernard's visits to Ireland when we were children 60 years ago. To us innocent wee boys, Bernard was a "wide boy", albeit a charming one! I enjoyed his & Jo's last visit when they stayed over with us about 7 years ago. I was really sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.
